Vacancy: District Technical Coordinator (1) – Mafeteng (External)

m2m delivers and enables integrated primary health services for families, creating health for all and leaving no one behind. The organisation uses a proven, community-focused model at a time when many African communities lack access to basic health services.

The District Technical Coordinator will oversee the implementation and operational management of the Bokamoso Project at district level. The role involves coordinating staff and stakeholders, guiding technical approaches, monitoring program outcomes, and engaging with community leaders and district structures. The Coordinator will ensure alignment with program work plans and responsiveness to community needs. They will directly line-manage Social Workers (facility and community-based).

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the technical implementation of Bokamoso at District Level

  • Lead and manage all Bokamoso activities within the district.
  • Monitor district-level implementation and ensure alignment with work plans and deliverables.
  • Coordinate implementation efforts with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate resource allocation and reallocation based on performance and impact.
  • Develop realistic implementation schedules with program and support teams.
  • Set performance benchmarks and monitor progress.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of district-level activities.
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Foster collaboration across project teams.

OVC Direct Service Delivery

  • Provide life-saving direct services to CBSWs handling complex cases.
  • Support coordination of service delivery at district level.
  • Conduct Districts’ participant impact storytelling.
  • Facilitate regular review meetings and learning sessions.

Staff Development

  • Conduct on-site trainings to improve implementation.
  • Participate in HTS Master Trainer Sessions.
  • Cascade trainings to field teams.
  • Support training of other Bokamoso stakeholders.

M&E and Quality Assurance

  • Use data to make programmatic decisions.
  • Support QAQI projects and remedial actions.
  • Monitor implementation performance at district level.
  • Contribute to quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports.

Administration, Financial Management & HR Support

  • Ensure financial resources are available at district level.
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with teams to review performance.
  • Conduct mentorship and supportive supervision.
  • Represent m2m in district-level forums and platforms.
  • Promote community participation and feedback.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Nursing, Education, or related fields.
  • Training in Child Protection, Project Planning, Management, or Counselling is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in administration.
  • Experience with OVC interventions and HIV/AIDS service delivery.
  • Ability to work ethically and embrace diversity.
