TITLE: District Field Recorder
GRADE: B
RESPONSIBLE TO: Area Technical Officer
LOCATION: Butha-Buthe (1), Berea (2)
NO. OF POSITIONS: Three (3)
JOB SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Area Technical Officer, the District Field Recorder is responsible for collecting livestock statistical data, maintaining livestock records for easy retrieval, and participating in other livestock-related activities.
MAIN DUTIES
- Collects livestock field data in the programme area.
- Participates in the measurement of pastures.
- Records and updates livestock data.
- Prepares and submits records to the Area Technical Officer.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Education Requirements:
- COSC/GCE
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Strong record-keeping skills
