Position Title: District Field Recorder
Ministry: Agriculture, Food Security & Nutrition
Department: Field Services
Grade: B
Number of Positions: One (1)
Responsible To: Area Technical Officer
Location: Leribe
Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Area Technical Officer, the District Field Recorder will be responsible for collecting livestock statistical data, maintaining livestock records for easy retrieval, and participating in other livestock-related activities.
Key Duties
- Collects livestock field data in programme area
- Participates in the measuring of pastures
- Records and updates livestock data
- Prepares records and submits them to the Area Technical Officer
Job Specification
Education:
- COSC/GCE
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Strong record-keeping skills
