Position: Distribution Manager

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce; Economics, Accounting, or any related Commercial Degree

Experience:

  • At least 10 years’ experience in a high-ranking Sales, Channels, Distribution Management position
  • Experience in driving sales initiatives end-to-end; from planning to execution

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of customer insights and analytics
  • Strong understanding of product offerings and customer segments in banking and microfinance
  • Understanding product and customer lifecycle and management
  • Understanding channels and distribution management

Skills:

  • Excellent creative and strategic problem solving skills (i.e. problem definition & structuring, analysis definition, insight generation & recommendation generation)
  • Excellent communication skills especially with top management and other stakeholders
  • Ability to drive the execution of new products, from inception to implementation
  • Sales and customer experience management
  • Risk and Compliance Management
  • Operations and Facilities Management

Critical Deliverables /Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Implement the country’s sales and distribution strategy and execution to drive product profitability
  • Develop and implement the Branch network and MSE Strategic plans in line with the country objectives
  • Provide branch network and MSE report to the Head of Sales and the relative to financial activities based on strategic and operational plans
  • Ensure all complaints for both internal and external customers from the branch network are resolved timely
  • Analyses performance of the various product within the branch network to establish product’s success
  • Drives usage of all digital products within the branch network
  • Monitors performance of all the branch network
  • Make periodic branch visits to assess the branches operations

  • Timely Resolution of queries/complaints
  • Branch Network Product Sales /Net Pay-outs
  • Customer satisfaction with products & services
