About the Project
BAM Group Foundation (BGF) is implementing a project funded under the WYDE | Women’s Leadership Initiative as a grantee. The programme aims to strengthen young women’s leadership, transform social norms, and enhance women’s participation in political and governance processes in Lesotho.
Purpose of the Assignment
BGF seeks to engage a Disability Inclusion Specialist to provide technical support on disability‑inclusive programme implementation and the integration of accessibility measures across the WYDE Women’s Leadership Initiative.
Scope of Work
The Disability Inclusion Specialist will be responsible for:
- Advising on disability‑inclusive programme design and implementation
- Developing accessibility standards and inclusion protocols
- Supporting disability‑focused leadership training
- Guiding reasonable accommodation measures across project events and activities
- Monitoring inclusion indicators and supporting compliance with accessibility standards
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Disability Studies, Social Inclusion, Development, or a related field
- At least five (5) years’ experience in disability inclusion programming
- Demonstrated experience working with organisations of persons with disabilities
