The Council on Higher Education (CHE) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of DIRECTOR QUALITY ASSURANCE AND STANDARDS.
Job Purpose:
To lead and direct the Quality Assurance & Standards Division in the development and coordination of policies, standards and regulations for the implementation of institutional registration, accreditation and quality assurance standards and procedures in accordance with the Higher Education Act of 2004 and CHE extended mandate which deals with Lesotho Qualifications Framework (LQF).
Essential Requirements:
Qualifications:
Minimum of Masters Degree in Educational Management: Assessment and Evaluation, Quality Systems and Management or related field.
Experience:
At least 10 years related work experience, 5 of which should be at managerial level within higher education setting.
Key competencies:
Knowledge of national, regional and global higher education systems
Knowledge of Lesotho national education system
Ability to provide guidance and to coordinate diverse activities
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to think at the strategic level
Demonstration of customer service orientation
