POSITION – DIRECT SALES AGENTS
THE AGENTS SHOULD BE BASED IN MASERU, BEREA, MAPUTSOE, HLOTSE, BUTHA BUTHE AND MAFETENG
Main Purpose of the Job
To sell the Lesotho Post Funeral Plan and to increase sales and potential markets. To identify and attract new business and retain the existing customer base.
Key Responsibilities
– Design and implement effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance contracts or adjust existing ones.
– Pursue business opportunities and develop customer relationships for the acquisition of new business in line with identified targets.
– Ensure business retention.
– Identify, approach, and effectively manage potential leads and call plans using current database and referrals to ensure the delivery of new business targets.
Minimum Qualincation
– Certificate of Proficiency (COP) or Diploma in a business-related course (basic selling skills will be an added advantage).
Experience
– At least 2 years’ experience in a sales environment (knowledge of insurance preferable)
Skills
– Customer centric.
– Interpersonal skills.
– Self-driven.
– Ability to persuade and influence.
