As a Digital Marketeer you will have the opportunity to develops the digital program strategy to manage user experience throughout the customer decision journey, and ensure integration of relevant digital touch points such as Philips.com, LinkedIn, Facebook, search, customer intimacy etc. across the South African market (90%) and Africa market (10%).

You will report to the Digital Lead Africa and in dotted line to the Head of Brand, Coms & Digital Africa

You are responsible for:
Planning and executing all media and display advertising campaigns

Measuring and reporting performance of all advertising campaigns, and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)

Identifying trends and insights, and optimizing spend and performance based on the insights

Brainstorming new and creative growth strategies

Planning, executing, and measuring experiments and conversion tests

Collaborating with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience

Utilizing strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels

Collaborating with partners for partnerships and affiliate programs.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field

Proven working experience in digital (mobile) marketing; minimum of 3 years of digital/social experience within a multinational FMCG organization

Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns

Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels

Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends)

Working knowledge of ad serving tools

Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

Digital project management skills

Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
