Job Purpose

To support with the design and effective cascade of the Division’s strategy and to ensure that the business delivers a sustainable return on distribution investment (RODI).

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate executive reporting and analytics, showcasing business performance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Research, analyse and deliver on stakeholder query resolution.
  • Identify stakeholder requirements & collaborate across divisions.
  • Maintain & coordinate team and stakeholder effectiveness & disciplines.
  • Understand client needs and manage client expectations.
  • Deliver & maintain client service standards.
  • Build sound professional relationships, understand & met client needs.
  • Develop trusting / professional internal relationships with stakeholders.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with contractors, consultants and suppliers.
  • Obtain “buy-in” for value-adding projects; systems, products and processes.
  • Minimize risk & enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop embedded reporting processes & ensure alignment with Nedbank standards.
  • Drive processes to improve internal customer satisfaction within the organization.
  • Report & present findings enabling decision execution in accordance with regulations and legislation.
  • Improve customer delivery and experience.
  • Encourage a proactive environment of quality analytics & strategic insights.
  • Oversee the delivery of reporting solutions, monitor, examine & make recommendations for improvements.
  • Review and complete work to plan.
  • Monitor & comply with risk standards and take corrective action.
  • Identify & resolve work obstacles & problems.
  • Contribute to the crafting of policies, procedures, standards and processes which contributes to improved client service.
  • Implement and improve work methods, processes and systems.
  • Manage the communication landscape and governance to stakeholders.
  • Manage staff performance and maintain a high performing team.
  • Mentor & coach staff on identified performance gaps.
  • Motivate staff to perform & contribute to the success of the business.
  • Create an environment of teamwork and encourage staff to share information and participate in the decision making processes.
  • Stay abreast in field of expertise & deliver on the expectations from stakeholders.
  • Contribute to team effectiveness.
  • Ensure Talent management policies and principles are applied.
  • Ensure self & staff understands & embrace the Nedbank Vision & Values.
  • Manage the on boarding process of new employees.
  • Ensure team transformational targets are met.    

Minimum Experience Level

3- 5 years experience in project management, analytical and strategic environment – managing a team of people – Retail Banking distribution expertise

Essential Qualifications – NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

Relevant Honours Degree in Business or Commerce
