Job Purpose

The incumbent’s job is to design and develop digital solutions that address customer problems. The incumbent must also ensure that all digital platforms are available 24/7.  The incumbent must implement and guarantee the security controls of the Digital Channels and customer Data. The incumbent must ensure that the bank is compliant with regulatory requirements. Collaboration with Business to understand and address their requirements is key.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  1. Provide technical support to clients on Digital Channels
  2. Testing of digital channels solutions in User Acceptance Testing Environment
  3. Troubleshooting of systems malfunction
  4. Design, document and test Disaster Recovery Plan
  5. Provide timely support to business
  6. Solution design and documentation
  7. Prevent audit findings and action findings to completion where necessary
  8. Fraud Management: Complete access reviews and audit of the environment
  9. Risk and Compliance of Channels according to standards and policies
  10. Monthly and Adhoc Reporting on uptime and performance of channels

Preferred Qualification and Experience

  1. Minimum degree in (BSc Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering) or any computer-related degree
  2. Experience in IT field an added advantage
  3. Understand Banking

Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise

  1. Understand Finacle
  2. Understand integration (API)
  3. Database management (preferred: Oracle and MS SQL)
  4. Understand Unix/Linux environment
  5. Understanding of Agile Framework
