Assignment Title: Development of E-Phyto System for Lesotho

The Government of Lesotho has received credit from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank to implement the Lesotho Integrated Transport, Trade and Logistics (ITTL) Project. Component 2: Regional Trade, Integration and Logistics Services is being implemented through the CAFI PMU. Part of the proceeds will be used to hire an individual consultant for the Development of an E-Phyto System for Lesotho.
Assignment Duration: 3 months
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of a postgraduate qualification in an ICT or computer-related field
- At least 10 years of experience in ICT
- Proven experience in developing at least 5 technical specifications for ICT design projects focused on business workflow automation
- Experience in:
- Business analysis, including process mapping and redesign
- Stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, and needs assessments
- Working with government agencies, international organizations, or private sector entities on trade facilitation projects
- Experience in ePhyto and plant protection solutions is a significant advantage
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
