DESIGN AND BUILD OF VENDORS MARKET STALLS AND ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE AT EX-CLIFFORD AND KA SAKENG – PLOT 12284-285

The Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) is seeking proposals from private sector development entities to deliver solutions that drive economic development, sustainability, and community well-being. The earmarked sites are located close to the main traffic circle, Plot No. 12284-285, within Maseru CBD between Kingsway and Moshoeshoe Roads.
Tender Document Access
Interested and eligible bidders may obtain the tender document by paying a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Maloti (M2,000.00) at the Finance Office, LNDC Development House, Block A, Level 1.
Mandatory Site Visit
A mandatory site visit shall be held on 5th June 2025 at 10:00 AM.
Meeting Point: MCC Car Park, Ha-Mafafa.
Suitability Criteria
Bidders will be assessed based on, but not limited to, the following:
- Demonstrated prior property development experience of a minimum of two (2) projects, each not less than M30 million.
Bidders must attach copies of completion certificates or similar evidence with contact details of clients. Bidders who do not have the requisite experience will be disqualified. - Key experts must include, but are not limited to:
- Professional Architect
- Engineers
- Project Manager
- Building Contractor with not less than ten years of relevant experience
- Innovative and creative concepts, including green technologies
- Evidence of financial capacity
- Ability to complete the project within six (6) months
Submission Details
Tenders must be deposited in the tender box situated at the 1st Floor, LNDC Development House, Block A, Reception Area.
Deadline for Submission:
Tuesday, 24th June 2025 at 10:00 AM
Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered. Bids will be opened publicly immediately thereafter.
Mandatory Documents:
- Valid Trader’s License
- Valid Tax Clearance
- Proof of authorized signatory
Additional Notes:
No legal person shall be awarded the same insurance, works, or consultancy contracts involving the Corporation for more than two consecutive periods of six (6) years.
The LNDC reserves the right to cancel the tender, reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason. The Corporation is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid. Margin of Preference will apply per the LNDC Procurement Policy.
