Position: Deputy Rector Financial Administration (DRFA)
Location: Maluti Adventist College, Mapoteng, Lesotho
Terms: Permanent and Pensionable
Maluti Adventist College (MAC) invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Deputy Rector Financial Administration. The successful candidate will report directly to the Rector and will be responsible for the overall financial administration and operational support functions of the institution.
This position is only open to baptized members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in regular standing who can model the mission and values of MAC as an Adventist institution.

Key Responsibilities
The DRFA will be responsible for:
- Receiving and depositing all college funds in approved financial institutions
- Planning and presenting the annual budget and fee structure to the Council
- Administering capital fund allocations
- Overseeing staff housing
- Managing student employment and remuneration
- Developing and operating service departments
- Maintaining college property, vehicles, machinery, and infrastructure
- Managing campus security, traffic control, and fire safety
- Leading professional and technical development of non-academic staff
- Administering finances and debt collection according to MAC policies
- Safeguarding funds, trusts, deeds, and legal documents
- Issuing regular financial statements
- Overseeing procurement, storage, and distribution of supplies
- Managing financial arrangements with staff, employees, and students
- Informing staff about financial policies and benefits
- Ensuring adequate insurance on college property
- Supervising auxiliary and support staff
- Managing on-campus industries and commercial enterprises
- Developing employment and labor policies in line with legislation
- Serving as chair or ex-officio member of relevant committees
- Supervising auxiliary departments under finance
- Representing finance in college finance-related committees
- Presenting annual budgets and strategic financial matters to Council
- Performing additional duties as assigned by the Rector
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Finance or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of senior management experience
Licensing and Certification
- Must be registered with the Lesotho Institute of Accountants, or
- An equivalent professional body if not a citizen of Lesotho
