Competence Requirements
Appropriate Tertiary qualification.
Minimum 6 years experience including management, logistics, distribution/warehousing and finance.
Team leadership.
Management skills (plan, organise, lead, control). Communication skills (verbal and written).

Output and Accountabilities
Develops, implements and manages business and financial plans and budgets to ensure resource management and the
achievement of business targets. Oversees the Warehouse to ensure stock availability and quality. Oversees the
Distribution function to ensure planned volume targets are met. Manages subordinates, monitors industrial relations and
ensures compliance with legislative requirements and maintains a healthy industrial relations climate. Oversees and
controls cash management. Manages the ongoing performance and training and development of staff. Ensures a safe and
healthy working environment to meet required safety and legislative standards. Ensures asset protection. Negotiates and
manages all service contracts e.g. cleaning, catering etc. Optimise information systems within the Depot.
