Main Purpose:

The role entails analyzing and investigating gains and losses related to depot stocks, conducting stock verification and analysis, as well as managing and reporting on stock. Key performance indicators include conducting depot stock analysis to identify variances, daily data capture and processing using TMS and Navision systems, communicating investigation results with transporters on a weekly basis for G&L (gain and loss) discussions, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. This involves meticulous attention to detail in stock management, data processing, and effective communication with stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Analysis and investigation of gains and losses

  • Ensures all meters are captured correctly per all the tanks
  • Investigate and analyses the gain and losses per depot (PIJ and IJ)
  • Calculate gain and losses to be invoiced to the transporters

Stock verification and analysis 

  • Verifying and capturing dips in TMS
  • Capturing meters in TMS and ensure gain and loss are aligned by investigating differences
  • Ensure all actual are accounted for through the Meter throughput

Stock Management 

  • Receipt fuel stock and post in Navision
  • Receipt and post sales for lubricants stocks
  • Weekly stock takes for lubricants

COCO 

  • Ensure orders are placed for COCO sites
  • Assist site team with losses investigations
  • Ensure all receipts and sales are posted daily

Problem Resolution

  • Main focal point to resolve gain and losses doing it proactively and in expedited manner
  • Analyze and report on investigations done and close matters

Results Reporting 

  • Responsible for reporting stock issues post analysis and investigations done 
  • Submit weekly gain and loss report to transporters post investigations 

Requirements:

Experience:  

  • Undergraduate University Degree
  • At least 3 year of experience in similar positions 

  
Skills:   

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Fluent in English an advantage
