POSITION : DENTAL THERAPIST (x1)

The following vacancy is currently available at Tsepong (Pty) Ltd
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following and are carried out in accordance with the Netcare Hospitals Lesotho (Pty)Ltd Policies and Procedures and/or as determined by Tsepong Audit requirements:
• The physical examination of the oral and related structures of the patient.
• Making a diagnosis and providing advice on illness and conditions of the oral and related structures
• Performance of procedure and prescribing medicines aimed at managing the health of a patient
• Referral of patients to specialists when necessary
• Consults with specialists and other health care providers regarding referrals and seek advice on optimal management plan
• Day-to-day supervision and mentoring of dental assistants
• Ensures high levels of customer care delivery and maintenance
• Participate in the management of the clinic, including standards and customer care.
Qualifications, work experience and skills requirements
• Degree or Diploma in Dental Therapy
• A minimum of two years supervised experience
• Computer literacy
• Registration with Lesotho Medical Council
Administration and reporting
• Administrative and financial responsibilities including:
• General logistics and stock control
Routine administrative reports
