purpose

To facilitate bespoke Forex and Money Market transactions for corporate and commercial clients, as well as providing market information to clients

experience and qualifications

  • Minimum Qualification – Bachelor of Commerce Degree ACI Dealing Certificate
  • Preferred Qualification – CFA will be an advantage
  • Experience – 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment of which 1 to 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level

  • Ensure the development, alignment and implementation of end-to-end processes within area of accountability for continued process improvement
  • Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation
  • Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
  • Identify opportunities to expand our customer base with creditworthy and potentially profitable customers
  • Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
  • Manages risks in own area of responsibility
  • Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
  • Creates solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
  • Identify and utilise opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targets
  • Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
  • Grow the desks profitability by achieving the forex and Money Market sales targets and provide expertise advise to the clients to grow the portfolio
  • Provide appropriate banking solutions across the business to prospective clients
