VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Phelisanang Bophelong HIV/AIDS Network, herein referred to as “PB,” will be supporting the implementation of the Community Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and Diagnosis activities in four (4) districts — Leribe, Berea, Maseru, and Mafeteng — under the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning – Project Management Unit (PMU) for the Global Fund supported project.
The implementation is expected to commence from 01st November 2025 to 31st March 2027.
In order to successfully implement TB Screening and Diagnosis activities, PB announces the following vacant positions and invites interested, passionate, committed, and suitably qualified candidates to apply.
Data Clerks (2 Positions)
Coverage: One for Leribe & Berea and one for Maseru & Mafeteng
Reporting to: M&E Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect daily, weekly, and monthly data from community teams and outreach activities.
- Enter TB screening, testing, diagnosis, and treatment data into national and project databases.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of TB data before entry.
- Maintain updated registers and electronic records of TB clients.
- Conduct data cleaning, validation, and consistency checks.
- Participate in data quality assessments (DQAs) and implement feedback.
- Support program team during supervision visits and review meetings.
- Compile and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly TB data reports.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Diploma in Statistics, Demography, Information Technology, Public Health, or related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data management, preferably in TB programs.
- Experience working in NGOs, CBOs, or CSOs.
- Strong Microsoft application skills.
- Knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, STATA, R, etc.).
- Knowledge of TB indicators, reporting tools, and Health Information Systems.
