1. Title: DATA CLERK x2

Reports: To the Site Management/Medical Informatics Manager

Duty Station: Nohana Health Center, Ketane

Job Summary:

The duties of Data Clerks include inputting data from paper documents into digital systems, updating registers and other patient documents and double-checking their work to make sure they inputted data correctly.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Register and other paper updates (e.g. ART register, appointment scheduling)

• Paper medical record Filing

• Data entry into OpenMRS

• Ensure Quality and completeness of data in electronic and paper formats

• Compilation and Verification of all monthly statistical reporting

• Supervision of Filing Clerk

• Daily Photo-Voltaic (PV) system readings and Weekly Reporting

• Technical Infrastructure issue triage (e.g. PV system, VSAT, IT Equipment)

• Perform other duties as required by managerial or supervisory staff of the organization

Minimum Requirements

• COSC certificate with pass in English

• Knowledge of application software packages

• Prior experience in EMR data entry and report retrieval

• Knowledge in e-Register data entry

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science is an added advantage

Experience

• Good capacity to produce timely reports

• Good understanding of health indicators

• Knowledge in data analysis

• To have extensive knowledge in data analysis and data visualization
