JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Statistician, the incumbent is responsible for the execution of the following duties:
MAIN DUTIES
• Create data processing and storage system for the Department.
• Capture data from applicants, classifies and stores it in the computer.
• Ensures protection of data captured
• Ensures easy retrieval of information in any format that may be required
• Provides general support to users of information on matters
relating to computing
• Ensures Validity of data entered into the licensing computers
• Compiles a list of all computers that may have problems and organizes for their repair.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Diploma in Information Technology from a recognized Institution.
Applications on relevant forms of G.P 104 for serving officers and GP 103 for job seekers duly accompanied by certified copies of educational certificates, transcripts, C.V’s etc should be hand delivered to HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION AT THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT.
