This is a fully remote, part-time (20 hours/week) opportunity for one of our esteemed clients. We need a 4-hour overlap with EAT (East Africa Time).
About the role
You will be a key contributor to scaling internal tools, enhancing business processes, and ensuring efficient communication and collaboration within the organization. Your role involves upgrading communication and collaboration tools, interfacing with operations and IT teams, and translating business and technical requirements into functional features within existing Microsoft systems.
You’ll leverage your expertise in Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Automate, along with your programming skills, to implement innovative solutions, streamline processes, and maximize business efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Translate product and user requirements into scalable upgrades within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Sales Hub modules.
- Build automation workflows across Microsoft 365 tools like Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
- Integrate data and communication tools to connect systems and streamline processes.
- Manage requests for product and technical upgrades, including fixes, component updates, and refactoring.
- Develop training materials and guides for new software functionality and troubleshooting procedures.
- Organize and maintain documentation for process and instructional guides related to systems and tools.
Required skills:
- Experience: 2+ years in software development, technical product development, cloud computing, or IT consulting, designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Automate, and programming languages such as .NET, C#, Python, and JavaScript.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud Platform services and architectures.
- Communication: Fluent in Microsoft 365 Suite of Tools (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
