Data Analyst: Ref: DANL
Responsible for collecting, analysing and interpreting data to identify trends and patterns, to provide insights that inform business decisions and improve operations. The incumbent is also responsible for modelling and designing databases, managing databases, ensuring data quality, and optimizing data systems.
Areas of Responsibility
- Adopting and adapting best practices on applications security
- Patching databases and database servers
- Implementing high availability (clustering) architecture for production systems
- Planning and implementing backup/restore functions
- Drafting and implementing effective and efficient disaster recovery procedures, including replication between production and disaster recovery sites
- Gathering and scrutinizing data using specialist tools to generate information that helps the Bank make decisions
- Identifying trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets
- Producing dashboards and reports communicating trends within data to the Bank
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining leading-edge analytic systems

Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science or Engineering in any of the following: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or Equivalent.
- MCSD, OCP, CDMP, CBIP or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- Experience in software development will be an added advantage.
