What you’ll do

The Cyber Security Architect shall report to the Manager: Secure By Design, and shall be responsible for managing the overall information security of Vodacom Lesotho by developing and implementing the Security and Privacy by Design and Assurance (SPDA) program within Vodacom. The incumbent shall also ensure that all products adhere to the requirements of GDPR, Data Protection Act and POPIA in relation to Privacy and Cyber Security requirements.

Who you are

  • Ensure that enterprise architecture deployed is in line with Vodafone standards and is secure to ensure privacy and security are embedded;
  • Implement and maintain the SPDA programme to ensure all products / services / projects are designed with security and privacy in mind;
  • Localize and implement the Vodafone model of secure software development within Vodacom Lesotho
  • Assess all Cloud deployments to ensure they adhere to minimum security requirements;
  • Develop and deploy Cloud Hardening Controls and Cloud Security Patterns Controls for all cloud-based initiatives
  • Ensure that security tools (IPS, WAF, Firewalls, DAM, etc.) are deployed in support of secure enterprise architecture

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in IT/Engineering or relevant tertiary qualification
  • At least two years full-time security experience in any five of the ten CISSP job areas
  • Proven knowledge of enterprise architecture domain
  • Networking skills, especially configuring Cisco devices
  • Linux and Unix Operating systems
  • Web Application security and best practices
