What you can expect
The successful candidates will work together with customers and Account Managers to provide and process information and response to sales queries and requests about products and services with a focus on Business. Contributing to achievement of Business unit sales target:
- Sales Order Management: Order receipt, acknowledgement within 24 (working) hours, check product availability, order entry and FIFO allocation (in close contact with related parties within BASF). Keep customer updated with regular information pertaining to orders and shipments. Handling of sample process and relevant sample stock
- Proactive Credit Management: Monitoring customer over-dues, resolving account related queries (e.g. dept, credit, commission, maintaining credit lines). Effective communication with CRM Team with regards to FSCM process to ensure pro-active in-house resolves
- Proactive on Time Purchase Order Management: Processing of stock orders to ensure that product is available at the right place at the right time (including (but not limited to Stock Transfers, Goods with Procurement Processes. Keeping relevant parties within BASF updated with regular information pertaining to orders and shipments
- Inventory Management: Balance, execute, monitor and communicate Supply and Demand. Ensure efficient material and batch management (i.e. ICTP’s, FIFO application, master data changes, Stock evaluations etc.). Ageing stock to be monitored and pro-actively communicated to relevant stakeholders. Evaluating DIV’s are adhered to. MRP/APO to be kept updated (where applicable)
- Customer & Product Master data-management: Ensure master data is up to date & optimized
- Non Conformance Management: Process non-conformance with relations to the OTC and P2P processes (including management of OEM reconciliations, Debit/Credit and stock returns)
- Main point of contact: To 1) Responsible Sales Colleague/Technical Teams and 2) External Customer – efficiently communicate to ensure constant knowledge and information transfer. Creating and maintaining informed and empowered stakeholders. Customer visits to be done on an ad-hoc basis. Taking and resolving all sales and/or customer related queries through the available BASF channels and platforms. On time, accurate and visible reporting on required business unit and team reporting ((if applicable) APO/sales performance, project status and tracking of KPI’s)
- Ensure implementation & compliance to Business Unit topics: Build a business network to facilitate transaction execution on a daily basis. Familiarize and implement the business unit tools & guidelines
- CS & FS KPI’s & concept alignment: Implement & align with CS & FS required KPI’s & alignments
- Business Continuity: Ensure backup is sufficiently trained & emergency communication channels are established
What we expect
- University degree within relevant field or equivalent qualification
- 4 – 6 years’ experience with proven track record in Sales or Supply Chain
- Self-motivated, strong interpersonal skills and result oriented
- Solid SAP experience and Microsoft Office computer skills
