Role Description and Purpose of Role:

Overall responsibility for the creation, development, implementation, management, and reporting of an effective, objective aligned market segment strategy and plan across the business.

Key Performance Objectives:

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Create market segment content to articulate the whitespace, insights, pain points of the customers
  • Understanding the revenue within the segment
  • Aligning or driving benefits of our products and/or solutions to bring in leads and opportunities for the sales team
  • Work with product owners to promote the story of our product both internally and externally (product features and their benefits)
  • Learn about competitors (customers, products and marketing tactics)
  • Work with product owners to develop and report on strategies to improve product NPS scores
  • Develop buyer personas for key market segments
  • Develop and implement go to market plans for new market segment and product launches
  • Identify opportunities for customers market segments to create themes and topics
  • Work with the product and sales teams to provide visibility and opportunities for products in the LexisNexis marketing calendar
  • Develop and implement digital campaigns for new sales, upsell, cross-sell, and
  • increased usage of products targeting existing customers and contacts
  • Drive traffic to global web pages and/or e-store for lead generation and sales
  • conversions
  • Actively drive the conversion of contacts to qualified leads for sales through
  • targeted product campaign automation
  • Monitor, track, and report on all product and segment sales and/or leads for sales teams (meeting set targets)
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the effectiveness of all product
  • marketing activities, including ROI, commentary, and recommendations

  • Highly organized, detail orientated, and able to priorities effectively
  • Self-motivated results-driven with a high level of initiative, creative thinking and a sense of urgency
  • Excellent qualitative and quantitative research skills and the data analytics a sociated with research
  • Ability to work in a matrixed structure

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Marketing Diploma/Degree
  • Previous experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and/or product management
  • MS Office advanced
  • Experience managing suppliers
  • Analytical with a keen eye for detail
  • Manage technical aspects of key product marketing and business systems (marketing automation, CRM)
  • Previous experience in a similar role
