Location: South Africa (Managing SA pvt/ state and BLNS)
POSITION SUMMARY
Gathering, analyzing and generating data around customer insights to develop and manage digital marketing for SAR, across various channels. Align to country specific TA and brand strategy, to assist in driving product growth and lifecycle management that supports achievement of brand and TA revenue. Be the single point of contact (SPOC), representing the SAR team to the regional and global digital teams, on the technical components required to support the various activities and platforms untilised in SAR.
Responsibilities
Financial
Accurate analysis of data, for each product/ portfolio, to establish a base line, followed by developing metrics to measure digital strategy impact and success Budgets set, tracked and achieved
- Ensure mitigation plans are developed, as required
- Set up; monitor and track ROI of marketing expenditure and programs
- Expenditure control/management of allocated digital budget
Strategy and tactical plan development
Development of local digital strategies, to maximize the value of our portfolio
- Ensure development of supporting tactics, promotional campaigns and programs and the implementation there-of
- Be the custodian and POC for all digital initiatives within PBG
Align to brand managers, proactively identify insights and ensuring alignment with business and brand needs Identify plan and implement core materials in line with the tactical plan (supporting the digital strategies) Advance proposals to various tiers of management to get support and appropriate resources Own the 12 month Digital Content Matrix and ensure continuous improvement based on customer insights working with brand and medical teams
Technical skills and support
Management of the SA PfizerPro website and any other platform linked to
- This includes being the SPOC for the SA market, when requesting development or updates or support from either the regional or the global teams
- Managing the HCP verification process as well as
- Uploading of new content to the various platforms
Alignment across functions and stakeholder management
Lead efforts to understand and address countries’ digital opportunities and challenges Collaborate with marketing and sales to drive effective execution of campaigns and programs, where required Establish effective peer relationships and strong cross-functional collaboration and communication Drive cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales; medical, legal, BT and regulatory Vendor management Align with the regional team, while driving Pfizer SA requirements within this realm Be the key interface between marketing and the business analytics and insights team, to support overall digital marketing objectives and customer marketing insights. Identify knowledge gaps and training opportunities to upskill both marketing and sales

Shared Accountability
With marketing:
- Brand and/ or portfolio revenue achievement, across all digital channels
- Ensure the marketers are aware of their content development requirements and deliverables
- ID marketing skills gaps and id opportunities for upskilling
- Develop country Op Plan and influence sales targets and brand A&P allocations
With sales:
- Identify sales skills gaps and opportunities for upskilling
- Create a journey for upskilling the PSRs in being able to leverage the digital platforms successfully
With regulatory/ medical and legal:
- Ensure that the approval processes are in place for digital content
Work closely with the regional AfME team and the global team to ensure that the SA requirements for the digital strategies are met
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
Digital experience and a qualification in digital marketing is non-negotiable
1 – 2 years pharmaceutical brand management experience would be an advantage
