Credit Controller In the Customer Relations Division

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals for the above-mentioned position. The incumbent will report to the Customer Relations Manager. The position is tenable at LEC Headquarters in Maseru.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree in Business Management or any relevant Commercial Degree
EXPERIENCE PROGRESSION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in credit management or related environment.
• Ability to work to targets
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Honest, polite and customer care oriented.
• Driver’s license
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The incumbent will be responsible for performing the following:
• Developing and implementing credit control policies and procedures.
• Developing and implementing the best disconnection procedure.
• Collecting revenue from LEC’s debtors and reconciling debtor’s accounts.
• Liaising with the relevant departments for non-payment disconnections.
• Negotiating payment plans for overdue accounts from customers.
• Verifying completeness of credit applications.
• Attending and resolving customer’s account queries.
