CREDIT CONTROL MANAGER
In the Customer Experience Division

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above-mentioned position. The position will be on a five-year performance-based contract. The position is based at the Head office in Maseru. The incumbent will be responsible for the Head of Customer Experience.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Professional Certifications such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, OR equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit control, collections, or revenue management, with at least three (3) years in managerial role.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Credit Management
• Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures in line with company objectives.
• Evaluate and approve customer credit applications, ensuring adherence to company policies and risk thresholds.
• Monitor and analyze customer accounts to identify risks and take proactive measures to minimize default rates.
• Manage the company’s credit portfolio, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Debt Recovery
• Oversee the collection of outstanding debts to maintain positive cash flow.
• Develop strategies to reduce aged debt and minimize bad debt write-offs.
Reporting and Analysis
• Prepare regular reports on credit and collections performance, including key metrics such as DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), collection rates, and bad debt ratios.
• Analyze trends in customer payments and recommend strategies to improve credit control processes.
Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and train the credit control team to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
• Set performance targets for team members and monitor their progress regularly.
Customer Relationship Management
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers to facilitate prompt payments.
• Resolve disputes efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty while safeguarding company interests.
