Credit Control Clerks (2 Positions) In the Customer Relations Division

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals for the above-mentioned positions. The incumbents will report to the Credit Controller. The positions are tenable at LEC Headquarters in Maseru.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma in Credit Management, Business Studies, Technician Accounting or equivalent qualification.
EXPERIENCE PROGRESSION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in credit control or related environment.
• Ability to work to targets
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Honest, polite and customer care oriented.
• Valid Driver’s license
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The incumbents will be responsible for performing the following:
• Updating age analysis on a daily basis to determine due and overdue debts.
• Collecting revenue from LEC debtors.
•Making follow ups on overdue debts.
• Attending to and resolving customer queries promptly.
• Reconciling customer accounts where necessary.
• Registering sundry debtors and their respective payment arrangements.
• Preparing invoices of penalties and other charges for customers disconnected for tempering.
• Assisting customers with reconnections subsequent to tempering.
