Introduction
Letšeng Diamonds (Pty) Ltd (“Letšeng”), a private company owned by Gem Diamonds Limited (“Gem”) (70%) and the Government of Lesotho (“GoL”) (30%) has insourced process function which consists of Plant Maintenance, Plant operation and Plant Procurement. As part of this insourcing, Letšeng is looking for suitable candidates for the position of CRANE OPERATOR
Duties & Responsibilities
To responsibly lift and move materials around the mine site as safely and efficiently as possible, and operate the crane according to verbal, written, or signal instruction.
Desired Qualification, Experience Skills & Competencies
COSC and NCCCO or equivalent crane operator certificate
Minimum of 3 years mining industry experience as a crane operator.
Good working knowledge of rigging practise and the legal requirements related to lifting equipment and working at heights in the processing environment.
Strong quality orientation in terms of work standards.
