Crane Operator: <68T (CL)
JOB DESCRIPTION/ PURPOSE
The incumbent is responsible to operate 68 tonne mobile crane to lift and or offload all heavy loads, telehandlers, truck mounted cranes and to drive any other vehicle, bus or machine as required from time to time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• 3 -5 years’ experience as a <68T crane operator in mining environment;
• COSC plus Valid code 14 driver ’s licence;
• Qualified to operate crane, machinery and vehicles;
• Knowledge of rigging equipment and safety requirements, practices and
procedures;
• Basic first aid kit applications.
• Police clearance and medical examinations of fitness;
• Free from vertigo and not colour blind.

N.B. These are Mine based positions on a rotational cycle. Applicants must be aware of the remote location of the mine, approximately 130km East-North-East of the Lesotho capital Maseru, 360km South of Johannesburg. Being a remote site, we require our staff to always show courtesy and cultural sensitivity to fellow Team Members and the surrounding local communities.
