About this role:
For this role, we’re looking for a c copyeditor with excellent attention to detail. Our copyediting team, along with our editors, ensures accuracy and quality of each and every piece of content delivered to our customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for copyediting our team’s content for grammatical and spelling errors. We’ll also ask you to do some light fact-checking and review against our standards of quality.
Please note that this is a contract role, and does not include benefits. We are specifically looking for individuals who are able and willing to work a flexible schedule (up to 25 hours per week), and interested in payment on an hourly basis. We are also especially interested in folks who have availability on afternoons and evenings in the EST time zone. (We do not work weekends.)
You’re a fit for this role if you have:
- The ability to work between 10 to 25 hours per week, on a flexible schedule
- A strong grasp of the English language
- Previous experience in copyediting, and/or language teaching, literature, and writing
- The ability to copyedit according to different customer style guides and other requirements
- Excellent and acute attention to detail
- An interest in accepting feedback and learning from your team
- Experience with, or interest in, copyediting B2B, SaaS, technical, or similar content
