Description
To effectively manage M-Pesa float (e-money and Cash) within the M-Pesa network across the country
Job Responsibility
- Effective distribution of float in the trade to achieve 100% liquidity
- Effective management of the top 500 M-Pesa agents and grow the base of the top 500 agents by 80% in terms of float availability
- Manage float runners float distribution and manage their performance on a monthly basis
- Ensure that the availability of M-Pesa till displays for every activation pack that is released to the aggregators.
- Assist in the preparation of training of the agents e.g., refreshments for trainees, and sourcing the quotations related to the training
- Identify float gaps and ensure aggregators attend to such to fill the gaps
- Consistent audit of outlets and escalation of the same for necessary action to be undertaken
- Identification & escalation of outlets that underperform
- Provide feedback & propose improvements on agents liquidity
- Documented and approved Monthly/Quarterly float plans
- Ensure all agents with internet are enabled with M-Pesa web access
- Ensure all aggregators are enabled with M-Pesa agent portal
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma in Business Studies or equivalent qualification
- At least one year experience in sales or marketing role in a corporate multinational environment
- Experience in telecoms industry experience will be advantageous
