The Center for Excellence in Higher Education (CEHE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. CEHE operates degree-granting career colleges throughout the western United States and online. The college brands include Stevens-Henager Colleges in Utah and Idaho; CollegeAmerica in Colorado and Arizona; California College San Diego, and Independence University (online platform). Extern Coordinator, Med Spec
The Extern Coordinator is responsible for generating clinical placements for our Medical Specialty students prior to their completing their degree.
Educational Functions:
- Create and implement plans that meet monthly clinical placement goals
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports as determined by the Manager of Externships
- Participate in weekly meetings.
- Create, coordinate and implement outreach of clinical sites through an online environment
- Works with academics to maintain communication with students throughout the last months of their program.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clinical facilities nationwide to secure strategic partnerships
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
Qualifications :
- Associates (or equivalency) degree preferred
- 1-2 years minimum work experience in business or outreach management or similar proven experience building business relationships.
- Experience in developing and completing projects.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently
- Demonstrates good time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Able to work collaboratively with different teams
- Experience with cold calling and B2B sales preferred
- Knowledge of medical or respiratory therapy field preferred

- TBD by supervisor within 90 days of hire.
