About the Role
Maluti Energy is seeking a reliable, organised, and customer-focused Convenience Store Officer to oversee daily store operations, manage inventory, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience.
The successful candidate will help ensure efficient operations, accurate stock management, and high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily convenience store operations.
- Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, and replenish merchandise.
- Maintain accurate stock and sales records.
- Process customer payments and support daily cash reconciliation.
- Ensure accurate pricing, attractive product displays, and stock availability.
- Monitor product expiry dates, quality, and storage conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Prepare daily sales and stock reports for management.
Minimum Requirements
- COSC/IGCSE certificate or equivalent.
- A Certificate or Diploma in Retail Management, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Previous retail, supermarket, convenience store, or stock-control experience is advantageous.
- Basic computer literacy and point-of-sale (POS) skills.
- Good numerical, communication, and customer service skills.
- Fluency in Sesotho and a working knowledge of English.
- Honesty, reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
