POSITION: CONTRACTS MANAGER × (1)
REPORTS TO: CEO
We are urgently looking for the Contracts Manager. A successful candidate should be ready to start in first week of November. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing important legal documents relating to construction projects and ensuring that any issues which arise are resolved as quickly and effectively as possible.
Key responsibilities:
• Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to bring new business.
• Develop and present project proposal.
• Meet with clients to find out their requirements.
• Producing plans and estimate budgets and time frames for projects.
• Managing construction schedules and budgets.
• Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating terms of business contracts.
• Attending site meetings to monitor progress.
• Acting as the focal person or main contact for clients, site and project managers.
• Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards.
• Liaising with technical and financial staff sub-contractors, legal teams and clients own representatives.
• Overseeing invoicing to respective clients.
• Working on site and in the office.
SKILLS:
• An understanding of the construction industry.
• An understanding of legal documentations.
• An understanding of FIDIC AND COLTO.
• Math and IT knowledge.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Business management skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• BSC in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum Five years relevant experience in contract management and quantity or surveying estimating is essential.
