About the Project
MSKC Joint Venture are the Professional Service Consultants for the design and construction supervision of the Polihali Transfer Tunnel under the Lesotho Highlands Water Project – Phase II.
The works extend from Katse Reservoir, through the Transfer and Delivery Tunnels, to the Ash River Outfall between Clarens and Bethlehem in South Africa, with water ultimately reaching the Vaal Dam in Gauteng.

Location: Katse or Polihali tunnel sites in the Lesotho Highlands
Education
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Must be a Professional Engineer or approved equivalent
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years post‑graduate experience in civil engineering works
- At least 10 years’ experience as a Contracts Engineer / Quantity Surveyor on major civil works
- At least 10 years’ experience with FIDIC contracts
High‑Level Role Description and Duties
- Represent MSKC‑JV in design and construction supervision services for the Polihali Transfer Tunnel
- Full‑time position in Lesotho
- Experience in underground drill & blast and TBM operations
- Reporting to the Joint Venture Policy Committee and Client management team
- Responsible for Contract Administration under the Consultancy Contract
- Manage change, cost, programme, resources, quality, procurement, risk, and stakeholders
- Chair meetings and produce regular reports
