The Association for the Physically Challenged is a well established non-profit organization providing a wide range of services to persons with physical disabilities throughout the Province of KwaZulu-Natal.
The Pietermaritzburg & Midlands Branch of the Association for the Physically Challenged has a vacancy for a qualified Social Auxilliary Worker with a passion for community development and an interest in working in the disability sector. The position is for a 12 month contract (1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023), with the possibility of a renewal of the contract.
Applicants should be registered with the SACSSP, have at least one years’ work experience post qualification and be in possession of a valid driver’s licence.
Qualities required: team player, responsible, honest, proactive, hardworking, willingness to learn, good communication skills in English and isiZulu and be computer literate.
