If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Contract Manager for a prestigious Dams project in Lesotho.
Job Description:
As a Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of Major Dams and Water Supply project in Lesotho. You will be responsible for overseeing the contractual aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and maximizing project profitability. Your keen eye for detail and excellent negotiation skills will be essential in mitigating risks and resolving any contract-related issues that may arise during the project’s lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, analyzing, and managing all project-related contracts, subcontracts, and legal documentation.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to define and establish contract requirements and deliverables.
- Negotiating contract terms and conditions, ensuring favorable terms for our company.
- Identifying potential risks and proposing risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring project progress and assessing compliance with contractual obligations.
- Handling claims and change orders, ensuring they are processed efficiently and within contract guidelines.
- Providing guidance to project teams on contractual matters and dispute resolution.
- Preparing regular reports for senior management on contract performance and project status.
- Conducting contract audits to ensure adherence to internal and external policies.
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS FOR CLIENT APPROVAL
(Client will not approve if you do not meet below)
- Should have a minimum pf 15 years post graduate experience in Civil Engineering Work
- Should have at least 10 years’ experience as Contracts Engineer/ Manager in major Civil Works (Dams, Rail, Tunnelling etc).
- Should have at least 10 years’ experience of FIDIC contracts
- Must have a degree in Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying
- Must HAVE Professional Membership or equivalent
Location: Lesotho (Candidates must be willing to be based at the project site)
Salary: 10,000 to 13000 USD per month (maximum)
Start Date: ASAP – Pending Client Approval)
