Based: PSI Lesotho HQ
Reports to: Marketing & Communications Manager

SUMMARY
You will be responsible for executing on PSI content strategy to drive demand for all our market segments. Content is the lifeblood of our demand creation and awareness engine. It is a key avenue to building trust and credibility with our beneficiaries and stakeholders. Reporting into the Marketing and Communications manager, this person should have outstanding messaging,
storytelling, copywriting, and creative content development skills. The incumbent also possesses superior knowledge of social media and other digital marketing platforms. As part of the PSI Marketing and Communications team, you’ll be instrumental in establishing PSI as a trusted resource for our target audience, building loyal client and partner relationships, and driving
demand.

What you’ll do
 Develop, implement, and track the performance of our editorial strategy and roadmap for all of PSI Lesotho’s programs, with focus on digital media, as well as traditional media channels.
 Drive a steady stream of owned and partnered content that can be used across various channels through
 Give guidance on distilling technical/clinical content into digestible, compelling editorial stories
 Use audience insights, personas, keyword research, messaging themes, campaign plans, market information, and content performance analytics to build an editorial and media calendars and create related content
 Partner with internal and external agencies, vendors, creative teams and copywriters
 Ensure consistent messaging and branding across content assets and channels: PSI websites, social media pages, outdoor branding assets, and others.
 Align to goals and clearly defined metrics of success to measure the quality of content, audience growth, engagement, and content effectiveness
 Work collaboratively with other communications, marketing, programs and other internal team members
 Understand and grow our earned, paid, shared and owned content strategy
 Collaborate with program managers to integrate and repurpose content marketing and campaign content where appropriate
 Stay up to date on the digital content landscape to make content strategy recommendations

Education and Experience
 Minimum 2 years of content marketing, digital marketing, commercial marketing or NGO communications experience
 Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related field
 Experience working in global teams a plus
