Position: Content Creator – Part-Time

Contract: 6-month part-time contract
About the Role:
Our gift shop is looking for a creative, digitally savvy Content Creator to produce engaging content that highlights our products, seasonal campaigns, and brand identity. A strong sense of storytelling, aesthetics, and social media strategy is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture clear photos and short, creative videos of products, packaging, and behind-the-scenes shop moments for social media
- Create engaging content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Write short, well-phrased captions and maintain a friendly, consistent brand tone
- Support content ideas around special events, new arrivals, promotions, and customer highlights
- Capture moments during selected customer deliveries or events, based on customer needs and shop activities
Required:
- Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
- Ability to take clear photos and videos using a smartphone, with a good eye for angles, presentation, and capturing moments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to write short, creative captions in a professional and friendly tone
Qualifications:
- Post-grade 12 experience in photography, social media management, or digital content creation
- A portfolio or samples of recent content created
