Content Creator – English (part-time contract)

More than a billion people use the internet, yet only a tiny fraction contribute their knowledge to it. About the Role:
Enabling people who understand various topics and have first-hand knowledge to create and disseminate what they know to a relevant audience at scale is central to our mission. Our Spaces product facilitates this type of interaction by allowing Quora users to curate collections and form communities around shared interests and tastes. Users who create spaces can amass large followings, spur meaningful interactions, and build a valuable personal brand.
Quora is looking for a part-time, remote contractor to experiment with our Spaces offering and work closely with our product team to provide valuable feedback about their experience. This individual should have a strong level of expertise in a particular topic that they can leverage to create and run their own space, as well as generate and share insights that will help enable other space creators to be successful.
As a content creator, you will play a dynamic role in interacting with the community of Quora users and our product team to help us rapidly iterate on our Spaces offering. You’re a curious, driven, team player, who is excited to have a significant impact on the evolution of our spaces product through the firsthand experience of running your own space and sharing your knowledge with others in an engaging way. This is a part-time, remote contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Access to others in your network who are knowledgeable about your space topic
- An existing following on other social platforms that can be leveraged to grow your space
- Experience producing video or audio content
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience growing and managing online communities
- Deep expertise in a particular topic that is compelling for a large audience
- Knowledge of the consumer internet landscape at large
- Proven ability to work independently with enthusiasm, energy, and drive
- Experience working with technical teams at product-centric companies
- Fluency in English
- Located in the United States or Canada
