In this position you will join our Telco business, Recent major contract awards have created an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Project Engineer or Technologist to join our Telecommunications Wireless Offshoring business. This is a Tshwane (Lynnwood) based position that will suit an emerging Wireless Telecommunications design professional.
We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Desk-top reviews to interpret client RF design requirements and impact on structural components. Structural detail analysis for new proposed structures, changes to existing structures and specifications for improvements required.
- Reviewing data gathered from site inspections, preparing reports, conceptual and detailed designs for wireless base stations.
- Designing wireless site solutions for greenfield and existing sites, including antenna and equipment locations (on structures and in cabinets), site layouts, mount supports and steel structures, including rooftop installations, arranging site access.
- Structural drafting, delivering designs, engagement with EME assessors, engaging with Australian team, completion of project documentation and project reports to meet client requirements. Experience working within a structures project environment and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience on towers (monopole and lattice structures) projects or similar steel structures.

What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need a relevant technical qualification and chartered status would be preferable. You will either be an Engineer, or Technologist, with 1 – 4 years relevant experience.
