Consultant to develop Global Youth Development 2020 Index and Report

Fee: £490 per day

The Social Policy Development Section of the Commonwealth Secretariat is seeking a consultant to be contracted to complete phase 3 of the Youth Development Index 2020 project: Update the youth development index and produce the YDI 2020 report.

The consultant(s) will be responsible for updating the index and production of the YDI 2020 report. The methodology will depend on the results of the scoping exercise, and will address some of the challenging aspects of measuring youth development in small island developing states.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have a post-graduate degree in a relevant social sciences discipline, such as statistics, economics, social research. You will need to have 10+ years’ experience of working in a government or non-government organisation in a senior research capacity; experience of research trends in youth and social development, and experience of the national, regional and international youth development agenda.
