The consultant will be responsible to:
- Accompany the principal consultants in the review of appeals raised by staff on the outcomes of the Job Grading exercise
- Apply their knowledge of global civil society (non-profits) to reinforce values of inclusion, collaboration and equity to the outcomes of the given appeals
- Support the review of concerns that may have been raised around the overall principles and assumptions of the Job Grading system
- Contribute to lessons and directions that CIVICUS can take note of for future standardization processes
We anticipate an engagement of seven workdays across October and November 2020. This will be finalised in keeping with the schedule of work agreed with the principal consultant.
The work will largely be carried out in collaboration with the principal consultant and schedules for the completion of tasks will need to be agreed together. A joint report of recommendations to the appeals received as well as the wider process is expected.
