CONSULTANCY TO DEVELOP THE SACU INDUSTRIALISATION STRATEGY
The Southern African Customs Union (SACU) Secretariat invites suitably qualified, experienced, and reputable service providers based in the SACU region to submit proposals for the development of a comprehensive SACU Industrialisation Strategy. The objective of this consultancy is to prepare a strategy that provides a practical roadmap for advancing industrialisation in the SACU region. The work will build on completed regional value chain mapping and must identify cross-border industrial development opportunities, support the development of sectoral frameworks, and align with broader regional industrial policies, including the SADC Industrialisation Strategy and Roadmap.
The Strategy must define implementation milestones, identify priority sectors, propose investment promotion and export development initiatives, and recommend mechanisms for stakeholder coordination and monitoring.

The SACU Secretariat reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal that does not meet its requirements. Furthermore, the Secretariat will not be held liable for any costs incurred in preparing and submitting proposals.
