Background
Lesotho Nursing Council (LNC) is mandated by the Nurses and Midwives ACT NO. 12 of 1998 to regulate education and practice of nurses and midwives in Lesotho with the aim of protecting the public against unsafe practices and intervene in acts of malpractice.
Lesotho Nursing Council invites applications for consultancy for the review of Diploma in Nursing curriculum.
Purpose
- To ensure that the curriculum remains relevant, effective and responsive to the needs of the country and in line with LNC requirements/Standards.
Scope of Work
- The incumbent should review the curriculum in line with the LNC approval checklist and set standards
- Submit a comprehensive report to the LNC Credentials Committee and the Board both electronic and hard copy
Required Skills & Work Experience
- Master’s degree in education or other related field
- PHD would be an added advantage
- Have an experience of 2 or more years in curriculum review
- Have reputable work ethic
Remuneration
- In accordance with LNC reviewers scale which may be competitive
