The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho has received financing from the African Development Fund towards the cost of the Institutional Support for the Enhancement of Public Financial Management Project (ISEP), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for Review and Development of Strategic and Operational
Plans for the Office of the Auditor General in Lesotho.
The main purpose of this assignment includes but not limited to:
(1) Review and update the current strategic plan and operational plan;
(2) Provide mentoring to forty managers on strategic planning development;
(3) Develop performance measures against which the office implements, monitors and evaluates the implementation of the strategic plan (this includes tracking performance on the strategy for organisational effectiveness, operational efficiency and accountability); and
(4) Develop in-house capacity through skills transfer during the review and plans development.
The duration of the assignment is 30 non-consecutive working days over a period of 3 months.
The government of the Kingdom of Lesotho through the Ministry of Finance now invites eligible individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information (CVs) indicating that they are qualified to perform the
services including, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, etc.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the shortlist and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants” May 2008 Edition, revised July 2012, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afbd.og.
