Assignment Title: An Engineering Audit on Marakabei–Mononts’a Road in Botha-Bothe

The Roads Directorate has received financing from the Government of Lesotho toward the cost of conducting An Engineering Audit on Marakabei–Mononts’a Road in Botha-Buthe, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
Scope of Services
The consulting services (“the Services”) include:
- Conducting an Engineering Audit on the Marakabei–Mononts’a Road
- Duration: 80 working days from contract commencement
Selection Method
The best-qualified firm will be selected using the Consultant’s Qualifications Based Selection (CQS) method, based on the following criteria:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in similar assignments
- Expertise in:
- Engineering audits
- Project management
- Value-for-money assessments
- Compensation audits
- Ability to assess:
- Compliance with approved terms and conditions
- Adequacy of monitoring mechanisms
- Value for money (economy, efficiency, effectiveness)
- Title verifications and procedural validity of compensation titles
Note: Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications.
