Project Overview
The Kingdom of Lesotho has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) for the Lowlands Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project (LRWSSP). The funds will be used for the construction of water supply systems in Berea and Maseru districts.
Scope of Works by Lot
Lot 1 – Ha Matlere and Ha Nthafa Water Supply Systems
- Stone masonry tanks (2m³ to 10m³)
- 9 concrete standpipes
- 5 spring catchments
- Source pipeline (40mm G.I.) – 105m
- Main pipeline (40mm HDPE) – 510m
- Distribution pipelines (25mm & 32mm HDPE) – 4120m
- Pumping system: SQF 2.5-2 (3 units), solar panels, 3-core armored cable (10mm² – 430m), pump accessories
- Elevated plastic tank – 10m³
Lot 2 – Ha Lekete and Foto Water Supply Systems
- Stone masonry tank – 10m³
- 11 concrete standpipes
- Pump main (50mm HDPE Class 16) – 660m
- Distribution pipeline (25mm–32mm HDPE) – 2361m
- Pumping system: SQF 2.5-2 (13 units), solar panels, pump accessories
Lot 3 – Ha Lebakae Water Supply System
- 1 spring catchment
- 9 concrete standpipes
- Source pipeline (40mm G.I.) – 13m
- Pump main pipeline (63mm HDPE Class 16) – 619m
- Distribution pipelines:
- 50mm HDPE Class 12 – 239m
- 25mm HDPE Class 12 – 2724m
- Pumping system: SQF 1.2-3 (5 units), solar panels, pump accessories
